Identifying Student Expectations

Your LC's Assessment Team representative has informed you of the first-day writing assignment. The assignment should be given as an out-of-class task to be returned at the LC's next class meeting. Please provide the students with written prompts; they can be printed from the Web site. These writings will be used to assess the students' expectations of the LC experience in 7-9 and the students' current perceptions in 4-6. This writing assignment will also serve as a key entry in the students' cumulative portfolios. The Assessment Team will read the writings at the end of the week and report the results to the LC Faculty Teams by September 4.
