Early Departure Interviews
This document provides a guideline for an advisor to use
when a student decides to leave the Learning Community. The
responses to these questions will be used by the Assessment Team
to review the Learning Community Program.

- Why are you leaving the Learning Community?
- What are your immediate academic plans? (Are you planning
to stay at USF or transfer to another institution? Will
you be continuing in college at all? Responses to these
questions may preclude the need to ask one or more of the
following; basically, if the student is leaving for
financial or personal reasons, we still want to know the
student's reaction to the Learning Community experience.)
- What did you like / not like about the Learning
Community?
- How did the Learning Community differ from your
expectations?
