02/02/12 Instruction For LLC
The spring semester usually seems to go by faster than the fall. Before you know it, it will be Spring Break and soon after you will be preparing for finals and looking forward to your summer! So, it should be no surprise that it is already time to soon make a decision on whether you want to return to the ROTC LLC for Fall 2012.
USF Housing has initiated the process for returning students to apply for USF resident housing including the ROTC LLC. Below are instructions to the LLC residents on the process for returning to the LLC in Fall 2012. Other returning USF ROTC students who do not currently live in the LLC may also apply.
If you do plan to return to the ROTC LLC next fall, please fill out the attached application and submit it to your RA, Michael Stelma, or myself in CWY 409 no later than Wednesday, 15 Feb 2012.
· You can indicate on the application your preference for room assignment. This will include both the 1st and 2nd floor of Maple A since our intentions are to expand the LLC to two floors.
· You can also indicate on your application your preference for a roommate. Selection of your roommate does not include the entire suite only your room.
· Your application to return to the LLC is also agreement that you will be a Mentor for freshmen students living in the LLC next academic year. There will be more information to follow on what this entails.
Please note that room assignments will be made soon to try to fit your needs, but there are no guarantees you will get your preference.
If you want to move into a general room next year, you should participate in General Room Selection (Feb 20-24) which allows you to choose from all available non-LLC rooms. For specific instructions, visit http://www.housing.usf.edu/swag/reapply/roomselection/.
Remember that to finalize your room selection (whether in the LLC or in a general room), you will need to pay your $50 application fee by February 28. Otherwise, you will forfeit your room choice and be assigned housing based on your application preferences at a later date.
