Jr. Web Developer –Permanent in Pinellas $35-40k The Drupal Developer’s role is to design, test, code, implement and support Web-based applications. This includes designing, building, and implementing Drupal platforms and sites; integrating Drupal and sites with enterprise applications and services; migrating legacy applications and functionality to the Web; and performing day-to-day administration of the organization’s Web portfolio. Work efforts will include customer-facing (Internet), partner-facing (Extranet), and internal-facing (intranet) Web-based applications.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Formal Education & Certification: • Four-year university degree or college diploma in the field of computer science or MIS.
Knowledge & Experience: • 1+ years with hands-on experience in software development • 1+ years experience with PHP • 1+ years experience with HTML/Javascript/CSS • Experience integrating (e.g. exchanging data with) multiple systems. • Experience with Object Oriented programming
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (PLUS): Knowledge & Experience: • Experience with Drupal • Experience with AJAX communication • Experience with managing LAMP stacks • Experience working in Agile/Scrum team environments • Experience with Drupal deployment, such as Drush and/or Aegir • Experience with Drupal CCK, Views, Panels and module architecture • Experience in developing high-traffic customer-facing Web sites. • Experience in programming/deploying large scale PHP applications. • Experience with Continuous Integration and Build (CIB) practices and toolsets (version control, build, schema and code analysis, etc) • Proven ability to work creatively and analytically • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing • Ability to organize, prioritize and perform multiple job tasks simultaneously • Ability to thrive as an individual in a dynamic team based environment • Linux administration experience. • Travel industry experience a plus

This individual will need to be detail oriented, deadline oriented, organized, outspoken, able to work with all levels of staff from receptionists to executives, able to handle all types of personalities, must be approachable, aggressive enough to stay focused, confident enough to gather all necessary information from the process owners to reflect the workflow properly, able to create process maps using Process Model software.
