BDU, Blues, and PT Shirt-First lay the shirt face down and flat, it is suggested using the floor or desk. Then fold the sleeves inward squaring the shirt off. Next fold the sides of the shirt in even with the width of the collar so that the overall width is the length of the collar. Next fold the shirt in half twice taking the bottom up to the top of the shirt so it measures 6"x6" and ensure that it is wrinkle free and looks sharp and professional.
Undergarments-Begin with placing the garment down flat and with the crotch facing down. Then fold the crotch of the underwear and fold it up to the waist band. Fold the excess sides inwards towards the center squaring the garment off and then fold the entire garment from the side into 3rds. Square everything off making it look neat and professional.
BDU, Blues, and PT Socks-Begin by placing the sock with the heel up and flattened out. This should cause the heel to be an excess of material which you will fold towards the top of the sock. Next fold in thirds from the toe to the opening of the sock. Remember the socks are different sizes but the methods are the same. A key to remember how to fold them is think of the opening as a tail pipe on a car and you back the car up into it's place with only 1 fold facing you and the opening facing away.
Pt Shorts-Begin with placing the garment with the emblem facing down and laying flat with an even waist band. Next grab the crotch of the shorts and bring it even with the waistband. Be sure to have the bottom of the shorts even and the excess material folded out to the sides. Fold the excess material inwards to the center creating a rectangle out of the shorts and fold into 3rds from the left side *when waist band is facing away from you*. Make everything sharp and professional and adjust any thing as necessary for it to look good.
