The Honors and Awards Council is currently soliciting nominations for the 1998/1999 faculty honors and awards listed below:

Alumni Professor Award
Theodore and Venette Askounes-Ashford Distinguished Scholar Award
Distinguished Service Award
Emeritus Professor
Jerome Krivanek Distinguished Teacher Award
Town and Gown Community Service Award

Nomination guidelines for all of these awards have been mailed to your department chair and dean. If you are interested in being considered for any of these awards, please see either your department chair or dean for details. Award guidelines are also available on the Faculty Senate web site through the USF home page. The deadline for receipt of completed nomination packets by the Honors and Awards Council is > Friday, February 19, 1999.
