NOMINATIONS FOR USF FACULTY SENATE 2001/2002 ELECTION Nominations are hereby being solicited for election to the USF Faculty Senate. To be eligible to serve in the Senate, a person must be a full-time member of the general faculty holding the rank of assistant professor, associate professor, professor, assistant librarian, associate librarian, or librarian. A period of one year must elapse before an individual may be re-elected to the Senate. However, senators who are fulfilling a term of less than three years may run for a full-term seat at the next election following completion of that term. Vacancies are as follows:
There are no vacant seats in 2001/2002 for: College of Nursing, Lakeland Campus and the Sarasota Campus. Self-nominations are encouraged. You may nominate colleagues within or outside your college for seats in their college. You must obtain a nominee's consent and signature before placing her/his name in nomination. Please note that Senate meetings are held during the regular academic year on the third Wednesday of each month from 3:00-5:00 p.m. Newly elected senators will assume their terms on the first day of classes, Fall Semester 2001.
