ACADEMIC COMPUTING COMMITTEE

Charge: Advises
the Provost on priorities in allocation and utilization of academic
computing financial resources; long- and short-range planning for
computer resources and structures necessary to support the teaching
and research function of the university; methods to encourage and
facilitate the effective utilization of computing technology in the
university's teaching and research functions; and all other matters
relevant to academic computing. Members must be knowledgeable about
computing needs within their units. Appointed by the Provost.

commencements and convocations; providing assistance in planning and
executing these ceremonies; organizing the marshal corps for the
ceremonies; and recommending commencement speakers as appropriate.
